The politics of Littland takes place within the constitutional framework of a parliamentary republic. The head of state of the republic is President Morten Kristoffersen, who represents Littland on the world stage as well as formally appointing the Prime Minster and the government ministers. The Prime Minister is currently Albert Simonsen, who leads the executive branch as head of the Littish Government. Legislative power is exercised by the Folkekammer, where only the President can veto legislation, though this has rarely happened as it can be overturned by a majority vote. Littland was rated a 'full democracy' in 2020.
