The Gotneskan Invasion of Caerlannach (Mealliagian: Ionradh Gotalainn ar Chaerlannach) was a series of military campaigns and conquests undertaken by the Gotneskan kingdoms to subjugate the region of Caerlannach. At the time of the invasion, Caerlannach consisted of smaller, semi-independent kingdoms and tribal chiefdoms loosely unified under a High King, who claimed lordship over the other rulers. The invasion marked the beginning of a 1,000-year occupation, during which Caerlannach was gradually incorporated into the administrative and cultural framework of the Gotneskan realms, profoundly influencing the region's history and identity.
