The Pashimari people (Mahanan: पशिमरी) are an ethnic caste that are native to the Paranani Province and surrounding areas of Mahana. They are genetically closely related to other members of the Mardri family of ethnic groups, with other notable members being the Jamuni people and the Sheshtri people. They share the common Mahanan language, as well as a majority speaking their indigenous Pharu language. They are often referred to as "lowland Mahanans".
