AirMarks is a Manamana-based company known for its online research and evaluation of airlines and airports on Eurth. Every year AirMarks holds its Wurld AirWards with rankings for airlines and airports based on anonymous ratings by international travellers.[b] These statistical surveys and reviews are completely neutral.[citation needed] The website also hosts a support forum where past passengers can help other potential future travellers with assessments and advice about an airline. AirMarks earns money by offering flight checks and airline reservations. This affiliate system has brought into question the neutrality of its rankings and ratings.[citation needed]

Awards

Every year, AirMarks gives out the Wurld AirWards, recognising the airlines and airports of the year. These awards are based on the aggregate review scores shared by users on its website.

  1. OOC. The name Ricardo Eseñas, abbreviated as R. Eseñas, was inspired by the Spanish word “reseñas”, meaning “reviews”. And these reviews are what AirMarks is all about.
  2. OOC. The name of AirMarks is a pun referencing “earmarks” as bribes. It was inspired by the Skytrax airline awards.
