These families include the Ingram, Kronstadt, Conover, Leckhampstead, Edwards and Stuyvesant families. - Keyheed Industries, through its majority on the board of directors, and 55% of shares.
- Hamilton Lowe Construction Company. Through a majority share of ownership, and the CEO Anderson Ingram.
The Ingram family are a major power in the defence industry, through its ownership of weapons and aerospace company, Keyheed Industries, and construction company Hamilton Lowe. In addition to this 2 defence secretaries and 1 secretary of energy has been a member of the family. The family began as blacksmiths in the early days of Delamarian settlement, but grew to control the new gunpowder market.
Kronstadt Family
The Kronstadt family has significant influence over:
- Kronstadt Industries. Via its majority owneship.
- Truman Energy Corporation. As the family holds majority ownership.
- Delamarian Trade Representative. As it is headed by Director Fergus Kronstadt.
The Kronstadt family is one of the major industrialist powers in the nation, and were a driving force in the industrial revolution. Of Variot descent, they built some of the first factories in Delamaria.
Conover Family
The Conover family has significant influence over:
- Conover Corporation, through the family's ownership.
- DBN Television, through Conover's recent purchase of the company.
- Transadlantic, as the CEO is Mike Meyer Conover.
- Hantu Hawke Natural Gas, through Conover's 67% stake,
- Croaker Foods, through Conover's ownership.
The Conover Family is the richest of the 6, having ownership of the largest private corporation in Delamaria, as well as being one of the largest foodstuffs producers on Eurth. President Robert Conover was a family member, during his term he benefited his family through deregulation of private industry. The family is of Anglish descent, and first arrived in Delamaria around 1750 as grain and fruit merchants.
Leckhampstead Family
The Leckhampstead family has significant influence over:
- The Commonwealth Congress of Delamaria, many house delegates have been members of the family since the confederation of the nation. Today 6 delegates and 5 senators are members of the family, including the United Party majority leader in the house, and the majority whip in the Senate.
- The State of Providence, the current governor, a house delegate, attorney general and 3 other state officials are members of the family.
The Leckhampstead family has had significant involvement in politics since the founding of the nation. The family has held the titles of President of Delamaria, Vice President, Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Secretary of Defence, and Secretary of Agriculture, along with a number of ambassadorial and bureaucratic positions. The family is of Anglish descent, and held some of the first positions in the colonies of Delamaria, notably the first colonial governor of Edwardsland.
Edwards Family
The Edwards family has significant influence over:
- The Delamarian Navy, 16 admirals have been members of the family since its establishment, along with 3 secretaries of the navy.
- The DBC (Delamarian Broadcasting Corporation), through Chairman Robert Edwards and ownership of Beaverbrook Productions.
- DP (Delamarian Petroleum), through the family having a large percentage of stock, and members on the board.
The Edwards family has famous roots in Admiral Henry Edwards, one of the first non-native men to step foot on Delamarian soil, and great grandfather to President James Edwards-Landstadt. The Edwardsland Region is named after the family, as is the DNS Edwards, an aircraft carrier used by the Delamarian navy in the 1940s.
Stuyvesant Family
The Stuyvesant family has significant influence over:
- Stuyvesant Company, the company is almost entirely owned by the family.
- Milton Fitzpatrick Bank, is largely owned by the Stuyvesant family.
- Carramanger Studios, is owned by the family company.
- Salvalas Fund, the hedge fund was originally created to handle the family's wealth.
- The Commonwealth Bank, is owned by Milton Fitzpatrick.
The Stuyvesant is a major banking family, controlling 3 of some of the largest banks in Delamaria, including the largest, Milton Fitzpatrick. The family originated in Lysian Columbia in the late 18th century, owning some of the first banks in Delamaria.
Other notable families
- Monroe Family. 1 Delamarian President and ownership of Monroe International.
- Redman Family. 3 Senators, 2 cabinet secretaries. Currently leads multiple charities and Political action committees.
- Beaverbrook Family. Formerly owners of a newspaper monopoly, though currently hold lesser powers. Owns a major publishing house.
- Severn family. Major military family, have had 6 members of the national defence council, and dozens of high ranking military officials.
- Carlisle family. Closely related to many poweful families, though they dont publically own any major corporate or political assets, owned Transadlantic until 2007, have since been living off the payment.
- Meyer Family. Powerful in Nassaua, where they are considered kingmakers. President Deborah Van Roose is a member of the family via her father.
- Carcan Family. Large influence over the Liberal Party of Delamaria, several members of the House of Delegates, Presidential Candidate Stephen Carcan is a member.
