The House of Jostad is one of the remaining Royal Houses of Ahrana that has officially returned after the Socialist Government Exilement and destruction of the Imperial, Royal, and Noble Houses. Currently the House of Jostad is headed by Prince Gustov VII Jostad who succeed his father while in exile as Prince of the House.
History
The House of Jostad was created in 1689, which makes it one of the oldest Royal Houses still in existence in the entire lands of Ahrana, when the House of Mishia ruled Ahrana. The first member of the House of Jostad was Prince Gustov I Justad, who was a member of the Mishia Imperial Family. The House was created due to Prince Gustov I Jostad being so far down in the line of succession that the King decided to reward his Son for his actions to the Kingdom and the Monarchy by creating the House of Jostad.
The first title to be given to the Prince of Jostad was, Prince of the Jostad Lands, which is located in the middle section of now modern day Dukedom of Low Tata. These lands would have been the entire province of modern day Low Tata while the province called High Tata would have been a seperate title called the Lowlands of Jostad, to which the title Lord of the Lowlands of Jostad comes from.
As time would go on the House of Jostad would be given the title of Prince of the Imperial Hand and Count of Lofftson as rewards in battles to the Imperial Throne. The title of Prince of the Imperial Hand was a reference to being the enforcer of the Imperial Throne, now a version of a Chief of Police or Police Minister.
