The Federal Police of the United Kingdom of Ahrana is the central and national Policing Authority in the Kingdom of Ahrana, responsible for Law Enforcement, Maintaining Peace and Order and the Safety of the Citizens in the Kingdom.

The agency is headed by the Federal Police Commissioner, who is appointed by the Chancellor who is then confirmed by the Parliament who is then asked to head the Federal Police by the Monarchs in the name of the Government to which is in the name of the Monarchs, who is responsible for all police activity in the Kingdom. The Federal Police is in the Ministry of the Interior but is independent and operates separately from the Ministry per the Constitution. The police is governed by the Police Commission Board that acts as the supervisory role in the Federal Police and reports to the Legislative, Judicial and Executive parts of the Government. As with under the eye of the Councils the Police must also adhere to all Policing Acts passed by the Parliament as well as local ordinances as well. The standard equipment found on a Police Officer is Pepper Spray, a Taser, two sets of handcuffs, a baton, and keys to their patrol unit. All Police Officers in the Kingdom of Ahrana do not carry their handgun on them and must get prior approval to access the gun safe in the boot of the patrol unit before brandishing a handgun. As with the handgun a rifle is also in a separate gun safe in the boot of the car, unlike with the Handgun a Police Officer has direct access to the rifle for cases of terrorism, hostage situation and for border patrol service.

Tasks and Objectives

The Role of the Police Force is described in the Constitution and the Federal Policing Acts that have been passed by the Parliament of Ahrana. These Provisions and Acts state that the police should prevent crime, monitor public order and safety, carry out criminal investigations, provide protection, information and other assistance to the public, along with other responsibilities as prescribed under special provisions. This is supplemented with the annual "appropriation directions" issued by the Government, which specify the agency's main tasks and goals for the year. The Ahranaian police also carry out a number of administrative functions, such as the issuing of passports, national identity cards and various kinds of permits and licenses. A permit is for example required when arranging a protest march or holding a public event, such as a concert. Permits are also required for using public space to sell goods, serve food or beverages. Individuals also have the right to request extracts from their criminal records, which is asked for by a growing number of prospective employers and is required by law prior to employment at schools or daycare centers.

The Ahranaian Government Ministers and Leaders at the Federal and Regional Levels enjoy a great amount of independence from most government organizations in order to keep each Governmental Institution from having more influence over the other as outline by the Constitution of Ahrana, neither the Government nor individual ministers have the right to influence how an agency decide in a particular case or on the application of legislation. This also applies to the Federal Police as well, who instead is governed by general policy instruments, such as laws passed by the Parliament and by the appointment of executives. The Federal Police is headed by a Federal Police Commissioner or just simply Police Commissioner, who is appointed by the Government and has the sole responsibility for all activities of the police. the Commissioner holds regular meetings with a non-executive Public Council to satisfy the need for transparency, and is assisted by the Commissioner's Office, tasked with managerial support and performance management. The organization is divided up into eight Regional Offices, in respect to the eight member states to the United Kingdom of Ahrana, to which a Deputy Commissioner is appointed by the Police Commissioner to head each Regional Office. There are eight offices at the Federal Level as well as the Regional Level to help with the day to day running of the offices. The Federal Police Office is the sole Office where all communications and operations are approved and carried down from, all hiring is approved by the Federal Office. Within the Regional Offices there are eight Support Offices as with the Federal Office but with the addition of a Forensic Office and Special Unit Detachment that reports to the Federal Police Commissioner. The entire department has a Public Council and a Anti-Corruption Unit (AC-01) that act independent from the Regional Offices and answer directly to the Police Commissioner, Federal Government and the responsible Legislative Committee.

Organizational structure

The Federal Police is composed up of Four Regional Offices, the Royal Constabulary of Elde, the Royal Police of Uppsund, the Xaraian Police Services, and the Militsiya of South Dniester. These four Regional Offices are not independent of the Federal Police Services but are member to the Police Services that help Police their Respective Member State. The Federal Police Services polices the remaining Member States, Ahran, Moskovo-Peterburi, and Tatani with Regional Federal Police Offices that report to the main Federal Police Office in Moskovo.

Federal Police Commissioner

The Federal Police Commissioner is the head of all Federal Police Services in the entire Union of the United Kingdom of Ahrana and is nominated by the Parliament and the Federal Chancellor to lead the entire Police Services. The nominee will be vetted by the Judicial Ministry and the Office of the Attorney General and is then either given the go ahead to continue with the appointment or not. Upon being granted the appointment to the Office of Federal Police Commissioner, the Appointed person will be confirmed by the Diarchs and sworn into the Office as the Federal Police Commissioner of the Union of the United Kingdom of Ahrana. This appointment holds no term limit and is determined by the government at the time of how long this appointee will be in office. A new Government has the right to replace an Incumbent Commissioner if a satisfiable replacement can be found. The Federal Police Commissioner must have and hold all required Police licenses, certificates and education as a Police Officer must. The Federal Police Commissioner is the Director of the other Federal Police Offices that do not have a Regional Director.

Federal Police Deputy Commissioner

The Federal Police Deputy Commissioner is the second in command of the Federal Police Services in the entire Union of the United Kingdom of Ahrana and is placed in office with the approval of the Federal Chancellor and the Attorney General by the Federal Police Commissioner. the Deputy Commissioner will accept the Office of Federal Police Commissioner if the Office holder becomes incapable of carryout the duties of the Office till the Government will appoint a new Police Commissioner. The Deputy Commissioner can be fired by the Federal Police Commissioner if a suitable reason is given. The Federal Deputy Police Commissioner must have and hold all required Police licenses, certificates and education as a Police Officer must.

Federal Police Regional Director

The Federal Police Regional Director is the head of the five Regional Offices in the Union of the United Kingdom of Ahrana and is placed in office with the approval of the Federal Police Commissioner by the Regional Government of the five Regional Offices. The Federal Police Commissioner or any of the Federal Government elected offices such as the Federal Chancellor may dismiss the Regional Director for any grounds.

Specialists

In the Federal Police there are five Specialist divisions that Federal Police Officers are grouped in according to their Police Academy Training and College Degrees. The Human Resources Department in the Federal Police holds records of each Individual Officer and what their specialties are, together with the HR Department and the time the Officer Spends in the Police Services determines the amount of time one Officer spends in each Unit unless they ask for assignment to that Unit. The current units of the Federal Police Services are the Federal Criminal Investigation Unit, Federal Police Federal Protection Unit, Federal Police immigration Unit, Federal Police Serious Crime Unit, Federal Police College.

Federal Criminal Investigation Unit

The Federal Criminal Investigation Unit or the FCIU is the main Investigation Unit that all crimes, except Murder of all degrees, go to be investigated and a court case gathered to be presented to the Judiciary. The Headquarters for the FCIU is in Moskovo in the same building as the Federal Police Service Senior Offices are located.

Federal Police Federal Protection Unit

The Federal Police Federal Protection Unit or the FPFPU, is the main Unit tasked with protecting all Foreign Dignitaries and Government Leaders in Ahrana including Ahranaian Government Officials that accept the FPFPU Protection which is not required but recommended in some cases due to the threat level for that individual.

Federal Police Immigration Unit

The Federal Police Immigration Unit of the FPIU, is tasked with insuring that all Passport Documents issued and show at all points of entry are official and legal. The FPIU is present at all Points of Entry with the Border Guards Units of the Royal Army to ensure that the proper procedures are completed.

Federal Police Serious Crime Unit

The Federal Police Serious Crime Unit of the FPSCU, deals only with serious crimes that may warrant huge media attention or the attention of people that wish to continue the crimes committed. The FPSCU is tasked with solving and preventing serious crimes from happening within Ahranaian Federal Police Jurisdiction. The FPSCU headquarters are located in Peterburi in an undisclosed location in the city.

Federal Police College

The Federal Police College is considered its own Unit as some Federal Police Officers will teach the incoming cadets of the Federal Police Services the requirements and things that are needed to be a successful Police Officers in Ahrana. There are two Federal Police Colleges, one located in Skaro, Tatani and the other located in Kjos, Lockiee.

Oversight

The Federal Police Services are under the Ministry of the Interior and the Legislative Committee on Police Services. The Legislative Committee oversees new, current and future policy for the Federal Police Services. The Minister of the Interior is the Minister responsible in the Federal Government but at times can be overruled by the Director-General of the ADI in times of Emergency.

Equipment

The Federal Police Services currently have three suppliers that provide Police cars and vans. The Federal Police officers especially favored the Volvo XC70 because of its handling, durability and high ground clearance, providing for easier ingress and egress. In preference to the Vans the Federal Police typically are provided with the Transit-van that is modified for Police Use.

Uniforms

The Federal Police Services have two everyday use uniforms and one Formal Uniform for formal occasions that resemble the Royal Army Uniform except for the colors which are Blue and Silver.

Officer in a Type I Uniform

Type I Uniform is a dark blue button-down long-sleeved shirt that says Federal Police in reflective silver letters with dark blue trousers with a silver reflective strip going down the length of the leg which ends where there is a double silver line. Below the double silver line, the Federal Police Officer will have the ends of the pants to the double line tucked in their black utility boots. The Federal Police Officer will have their Velcro First Initial and Full Last Name on the left side of their chest with the right side having the Velcro insignia of the Federal Police Service Logo or Badge. The standard equipment found on a Police Officer is Pepper Spray, a Taser, two sets of handcuffs, a baton, and keys to their patrol unit that are all equipped on a utility belt along with a metal version of the Federal Police Badge on their chest. All Police Officers in the Kingdom of Ahrana do not carry their handgun on them and must get prior approval to access the gun safe in the boot of the patrol unit before brandishing a handgun.

Officer in a Type II Uniform

Type II Uniform is a light blue short-sleeved button-down shirt that say Federal Police in reflective silver letters with black trousers with a silver reflective strip going down the length of the leg which ends where there is a double silver line. Below the double silver line, the Federal Police Officer will have the ends of the pants to the double line tucked in their black utility boots. As to the Type I Uniform, Type II follows the same procedures on the Velcro labels and badge. The Type II Uniform is equipped with the same equipment as Type I as it is the standard Police Issue Equipment.

Officers in the Formal Uniform

The Formal Uniform is only worn in Formal Occasions and is the same as the Royal Army except the colors of the trousers are dark blue with a silver line down the length of the trousers and is worn with a dark blue uniform jacket. On the Uniform Jacket the Medal badge of the Federal Police Services are worn on the right with a silver medal name badge with the First Initial and Full Last name on it. If the Federal Police Officer has any awards either they be Federal Police Service Awards, Military Awards, or Royal Honors including House Orders they all may be displayed under the Federal Police badge in order of precedence with the House and Imperial Orders having the highest rank. The Uniform is worn with a Formal Peaked Cap that matches the color of the Jacket and trousers and has a silver line between the visor and the rest of the cap with the Federal Police Badge in the center. Depending on the rank of the Officer there may be olive leaves on the visor if the rank permits.
