The Royal Constabulary of Elde is a sub-agency of the Federal Police of Ahrana that only has jurisdiction inside the boundaries of the grand Duchy of Elde. The Constabulary is part of the Federal Police Services of the United Kingdom of Ahrana which reports to the Minister of the Interior as well.

Task and Objectives

The Task and Objectives of the Constabulary are the same as it was before the Grand Duchy was readmitted to the Union of the United Kingdom of Ahrana. The Constabulary is to prevent crime, monitor public order and safety, carry out criminal investigations, provide protection, information and other assistance to the public, along with other responsibilities as prescribed under special provisions. The Constabulary preforms the same duties as the Federal Police that operates in the rest of the Kingdom of Ahrana.

Organizational Structure

The Royal Constabulary of Elde is headed by the Chief Constable who reports to the Regional Federal Police Commissioner. The Constabulary of Elde is a division of the Federal Police Services that operates within the Stat of Elde. Currently, the Stat of Elde has seven Rayons that the Constabulary is responsible for policing in junction to the other duties that fall to the Constabulary.

Chief Constable

The Chief Constable is appointed by the Stat Executive Council and confirmed by the Stat Parliament who serves at the pleasure of the Stat Government. The Chief Constable must be a member of the Royal Constabulary and has served with distinction for over a minimum of five years. As the head of the Royal Constabulary the Chief Constable ensures the Police Service is operating at its highest ability, fully staff, and ensures that the laws are enforced and followed by the Constabulary Officers themselves.

Deputy and Assistant Chief Constable

the Deputy Chief Constable and Assistant Chief Constable are appointed in each Kunta to head each main Office Headquarters within that Kunta. This office is filled by the Chief Constable with whom they believe and is picked from a list of candidates for promotion.

Oversight

Much like the rest of the Federal Police Services the Federal Parliament along with the Regional Parliament have oversight into the Policing Service to ensure the Legislation in use are being followed and to ensure all Laws are being enforced and maintained as well as Anti-Corruption inside the Service.
