Alharu (Tyuju)

Esonice and Alharu have a deep interconnected history with one another as Proto-Azumic peoples migrated from the Paran desert and spread across the Shield Islands, including Esonice. Esonice had extensive trade connections with many empires on continental Alharu such as the Huang empires which Esonice had significant cultural contact with. Other empires Esonice had extensive relations with historical empires such as the Tuachec Empire. In modern times, Esonice seeks closer ties with Alharun nations and closer involvement in economic and diplomatic matters, including investing into its economies.

The formal name of Alharu in Esonian is 中洲 (Tyuju) meaning 'middle continent'. The casual name of Alharu is アルハル (Aruharu).

Argis (Bokuju)

Esonice has steadily become more active in Argic affairs, establishing new connections with Argic states and increasing investments into the continent. Historically Esonice always shared a special relationship with Argis due to Proto-Yasic migrations into the islands of Esonice intermixing with the local Azumic natives that formed the early basis of Esonice's cultural and linguistic identity. That special relationship has been further reinforced by Argic colonialism in Esonice by countries such as Seylos, Iverica, Garindina and Gotneska.

In Esonian, Argis is formally known as 北洲 (Bokuju) meaning 'northern continent'. The casual name of Argis is アルジス (Arujisu).

Aurelia (Näju)

Esonice is very involved in Aurelian affairs and is part of several organisations and institutions on the continent, including the Aurelian Shield Community and most importantly the Aurelian League which Esonice is an integral member of. Esonice shares much of its history with other nations of Aurelia, especially in the Aurelian Shield and West Aurelia. The Sheng dynasty which used to control a vast island empire in the Aurelian Shield spread its culture and religious beliefs to the native Azumic natives of Esonice which formed the basis of Esonian identity. The Aurelian Empire had an influential impact on Esonice as well through trade. Esonice has as well been involved in Aurelian-based conflicts such as the Second Aurelian War and the wars between Esonice and Kolhar over the former Sheng core.

The formal Esonian name of Aurelia is 南洲 (Näju, also fragranised as Nanju) meaning 'southern continent'. The casual name of Aurelia is オレリャ (Orerya).

Europa (Saiju)

Despite the considerable distance between Esonice and Europa because of the Oriental Ocean, Esonice had extensive contact with Europa through former migratory routes of the Proto-Azumic peoples who migrated across the ocean settling coasts and islands. Trade flowed along these routes with Esonice being a major point of interest for Europan merchants crossing the vast ocean. The 15th and 16th century was the peak of pre-industrial trade between Esonice and Europa before the Serene Kingdom fell into a long period of isolation, limiting access for Europan merchants. In recent times, Esonice maintained relations only with some Europan countries due to the Great Europan Collapse. However, like much of Eurth Esonice became involved in the Grand War but so far only played an insignificant support role and imposing sanctions against Anglia and its allies.

in Esonian Europa is formally known as 西洲 (Saiju), meaning 'western continent'. The casual name of Europa is ユロパ (Yuropa).

Esonice and Marenesia never had extensive contact with one another, this continues to be the case to modern day with Esonice not holding many relations with Marenesian countries besides trade and AN matters.

Thalassa (Sendoju)

Esonice and Thalassa share a mercantile history, with Proto-Azumic seafarers traversing the Oriental Ocean across to Europa settling and forming communities on coasts and islands.

Until 1997, Thalassa, known in Esonian officially as 千島洲 (Sendoju, Literally thousand island continent) and casually as タラサ (Tarasa) was not an officially recognised continent by Esonice. Esonice is occassionally defined as part of Thalassa by foreign geographers, however Esonice does not identify itself with Thalassa to any capacity and denies such identification with the continent.
