The Loyalist Party is the main political party, since the Federation of Ahrana allowed the multi-party system in the Congressional Houses and the re-establishment of the Monarchy. The Party is a merger of several other Political Parties that formed the Loyalist Coalition under the Federation, today the Coalition is now a Political Party from the merger of the Liberation Party, Liberalist of Nothern Ahran, Centrists of Xara, and the Centrists of Moskovo.

Ideology

The Loyalist Party is a Centre-Right Political Party that was founded on the principles of Liberalism and centrism in Ahrana, Classical liberalism, and Conservative liberalism.

The official party ideology has historically been social liberalism, which translates as a strong ideological commitment to a mixed economy, with support for comprehensive but market-based welfare state programs.

Initially the Loyalist Party was founded under a different name, the Ahranaian Democrats, which advocated for more Democratic Principles in the Government during the period of 1960-1990. At that time the Government was still heavily influenced by the Monarchy and the Parliament was still functioning as a Confrontational mosh pit due to the inability of the Parliament to get anything passed. During this period of government, the King had placed full government control in the Monarchy due to political gridlock which was hurting the country. The Ahranaian Democrats worked with the Monarchy in securing a transition to a more Democratic functioning Parliament and Government. Today the government is set up in a way that the Ahranaian Democrats helped create, which has worked since 1990. Since the 1990s however, the Ahranaian Democrats have changed their name to the Loyalist Party.

During the Socialist Revolution the Loyalist Party and other Political Parties that were deemed not loyal to the socialist cause were banned from holding public office at the Federal, Regional, and Local levels of government. The Loyalist Party along with the Liberal Conservative Party, Conservative People's Party, Christian Democrats, Liberal Centrist Party, Green Party, Social Liberal Party, and the Social Democrats formed the Government-in-exile which was under the authority of the ATARA Representative, Lady Madeleine Eriksson, who was the only Ahranaian Royal to not be trialed in front of a sham court nor executed by the Socialist Government. During this time period it is unknown where the Government-in-exile operated but what is known it is because of these political parties especially the Loyalist Party that the Monarchy was able to return again.

Under the Federation Government the Political System that the Loyalist Party had worked with the Monarchy to create was re-established and was used once more. This would be the same when the Federation transitioned into the United Kingdom of Ahrana, marking the third time a United Kingdom Union had been established in Ahranaian history. Today the Loyalist Party merged with the Liberation Party, Liberalist of Nothern Ahran, Centrists of Xara, and the Centrists of Moskovo to create the new Party of the Loyalists which has controlled the government since the Monarchy took over again. The Loyalist Party believes in working with a coalition government to govern the country instead of a single majority even if the majority of votes are gained.

Membership and Leadership

The Loyalist Party is currently lead by current Federal Chancellor, Liv Bjorkman, who succeeded the Liberation Party Leader, Alexandra M. L. Core, as party leader before the merger.

The Loyalist Party makes up 65% of the Government positions in the Federal Government of Ahrana currently with the other 35% of the Government positions being made up of the other Parties in the current Coalition Government.
