Deborah Van Roose is a Delamarian politician, author and lawyer who served as the last President of Delamaria from 2020 to 2023. Currently she is a member of the senate as a life member, having been appointed by Prime Minister Campbell in 2023, after she was made chairwoman of the Liberal Conservative Party. She also served as Vice President under President Pierre Monroe as a member of the United Party. She was relected president in the 2020 Delamarian Presidential Election.

She was born on May 13th, 1966 as Deborah Catherine Meyer, to Alexander and Angelica Meyer. Alexander, a wealthy banker and political donor, and Angelica, a socialite in the social scene of Nassaua, sent their daughter to Middlebury Girls School in New Bedford until she was 13. Van Roose recounted her time in boarding school as "the best and worst days of my life".
