To creating Nonprofit organizations that help countries in times of need that are either facing economic distress or have been victims of foreign wars.
From her biography that was written in 2011 and later published in 2015 states that one of the main reasons she started creating nonprofit was after the murder of her brother Sir Liam O’Suileabhan during the 1973 Langueuil Attacks and the death of her oldest son Seán that died of cancer in 1974.
“I remember feeling absolutely depressed Patrick would try his best to cheer me up, He know I loved it when he brought me flowers or something else he know gave me joy. Then one night after we put all the kids to bed he asked me what do you think of creating a nonprofit? And I was like why are you asking? And he replied because I believe it be good for you to show support not only to members of the Riksdag community that events that killed your brother and my brother-in-law can have some kind of organization that will care for them in there time of need. I hate seeing just how sad you have become. It truly breaks my heart to now this. And for the loss of Seán. We can certainly create a nonprofit in his name and help children that are fighting for their lives be able to have some fun and for there families not have to worry about paying medical bills. Which I thought for a while and finally decided that my husband differently knew where my heart lead. Something that is truly special to find out about your husband”.
