The "Schennische Fahnenhymne" (Anglish: Schennish Flag Hymn) is the national anthem of Schennland. It was first written during the Schennish Revolution from 1795–1798, when Schennish Republicans rebelled against Dolchland.
History
The song was a collaboration between the poet Andreas Theiss and the composer Friedrich Möller, both of whom were founding fathers of the Schennish Freistaat. The song remained a popular nationalist song throughout the country's history before finally being named the official national anthem in 1983 after the PLACEHOLDER Revolution, which re-established democracy in the country.
