The House of Galdona (Iberic: Casa de Galdona) is a historic dynasty from Pecario, established in Alharu the region of Mesothalassa. The dynasty traces its origins back to 1652 with the coronation of Diego de Galdona, who unified Pecario's nobility during a period of internal conflict. In 1717, when the Treaty of Gorgia placed Pecario under the authority of the Iveric Republic, Leovigildo II and his family were reduced to a ceremonial role. However, they retained influence as symbols of Pecario’s heritage. Throughout the 18th century, as Iveric influence waned, the Galdonas continued to serve as the cultural stewards of Pecario. Today they serve a purely symbolic role but appreciated by the majority of the population of Pecario according to a 2017 survey.
