The Parliament of the Grand Duchy of Volhynia is a bicameral legislature that has full legislative authority over all lands of the Grand Duchy of Volhyina. The Legislature is made up of the Council of State and the Chamber of Deputies. Both Chambers of Parliament are the full legislative authority at the Federal Level of the Grand Duchy.

The current composition of the Parliament was configured in 1972 by the Constitutional Court on the Act of Legislative Redistricting per the population increase, within that Judicial Act it was decided that the next Redistricting for the Grand Duchy would take place in 2028.

History

The Grand Duchy of Volyhnia had a Parliament established in 1890 that was just the Chamber of Deputies that acted as the rubber stamp as the Constitution had not established powers to the Chamber at that time. In 1912 with the Independence granted by the Ahranaian Royal Family in-exile, the Grand Duchy established the modern-day Parliament as a full function Parliament with a separation of powers from the Executive and Judicial sections of government.
