Voltairine de Saint-Clair (1815-1887), born in Florentia as a member of the House of Asmavie and later Duchess of Saint-Clair via mariage, is an activist known as one of the first two self-identified anarchists, along with Charles Chocliétie, as well as her significant role in the Lyrie Commune.
