The 1954 Delamarian General Election was called by Prime Minister James Penwright for June 6th, 1954. The Liberal party of Felix Carcan won the plurality of seats, though failed to win a majority, as had happened with the United party of Logan Leckhampstead in the previous 1953 election. Penwright, after consultation with President Henley Montmaine, decided to appoint Carcan as Prime Minister.
