Prajeeta Rajya Lakshmi Devi Misra, Queen of Mahana (Born; Prajeeta Rajya Lakshmi Devi Krishnu, 5th May 1873 - 26th July 1945) was a member of the Misra Dynasty and Queen of Mahana from 1902 to 1917, when she abdicated the throne to her eldest son, King Rajya. Prajeeta's activism and glamour made her an icon regionally and internationally. Her activism lead to her abdication as she left the glamourous royal life to assist with charities in Azania.
Prajeeta was born to royalty, the daughter and only heir of the reigning king, Manmohan Krishnu, and raised in the Jutpandi Royal Palace. During her early years she was in the eyes of the nations people and the media, known for having beautiful eyes and a charismatic smile. She was made Sardar of Nuragara in 1890. In 1891 she was married to a noble named Charandra Tamarkar Misra, heir to a successful cane plantation. Her father finally passed in 1902, and she was coronated in the months following.
Prajeeta believed heavily in philanthropy and spent a lot of her life and reign raising funds for Mahanan youth charities and distributing the wealth. This gave her a generally positive reputation to other international leaders, with her reign being the first in which many Argic and western countries opened relations with Mahana.
Early Life
Prajeeta was born to royalty, the daughter and only heir of the reigning king, Manmohan Krishnu, and raised in the Jutpandi Royal Palace. Her early life was very public, appearing in media and to the public often as it was presumed she would be the final member of the Krishnu Dynasty of monarchs, as well as being one of Mahana's first queens. She was raised under the close supervision of Girija Baral, one of her father's servants. This greatly influenced Prajeeta's political and social views as she wasn't raised with great spoils unlike her younger siblings.
Prajeeta's mother was was proclaimed 'medically insane' during her teenage years, which took a great toll on a young Prajeeta. Her mother's diposition lead to Prajeeta spending great amounts of time inbetween the hospital his mother was stationed at and the family home.
