The Nationalrat (Dolch: [nat͡si̯oˈnaːlˌʁaːt]) is the national parliament of Schennland. It is unicameral and consists of 150 members, who are elected by universal suffrage under party-list proportional representation using the D'Hondt method with a 6% electoral threshold.
During the most recent elections in 2020, the National Conservative Party (NKP) became the largest party in the Nationalrat, and formed a right-wing coalition with the Agrarian-Democratic Alliance (AA) and Schennish Christian Democrats (SC). The parties in opposition are the Democratic Party (DP), the Aurelian Revolutionary Popular Alliance (ARV), and the Party for Schennish Gemotamism (PSG).
