The 1966 Delamarian General Election was held on May 2nd, 1966. The United party of Alexander Cleese was victorious ousting Liberal Prime Minister Felix Carcan. It was the worst defeat for the liberals in decades, forcing them into being a third party, twenty seats behind Social Labour.
