== Geography ==
== Geography ==
Kyznetsia occupies a large portion of the Kzetchian Peninsula (referred to as simply the peninsula by most Kyznet) and two islands in the Qingming, Lopalagruza and Lastranovo. Its location, size, climate and natural resources make Kyznetsia very geographically diverse, as well as being very topographically diverse. It includes hills, mountains, plains, scrubland, shrubland, woodlands and forests. Elevation ranges from the central mountain range of the Bijelog-Bodeža, with it's highest peak Vještičji Prst standing at 1,810 metres (5,983.ft), outwards to the shores of the Kezanoi, Intria, Green and Qingming Seas.

The Safirava River, Kyznetsias largest, empties into the Kezanoi Sea and has a dense and complex drainage basin which stretches through a series of major valleys throughout the western reaches of the Peninsula. It effectively splits the north from the south and due to it's size and length, and is home to some of the most fertile and arable land, a sizeable portion of which is used for vineyards producing the world famous wine Vino-Bielodina.
== Climate ==
Kyznetsia has primarily a warm-summer !Mediterranean climate, experiencing warm and dry summers ranging from 18 to 24 °C during its warmest summer month, and typically 18 to -4 °C in its coldest month. Winters are often rainy and mild to chilly, depending on proximity to the coast. Snow is uncommon, even during the coldest month of the year. The western coastal region of Dvorište-Vinoveloze experiences temperatures that routinely exceed 22 °C and typically enjoys very hot and dry summers with mild or cool winters; again rarely seeing snow in the winter months.

The legislative body is the bicameral Federal Assembly. It is comprised of the proportionally representative lower house, the National Council, and the upper house, the Senatorial Committee, which has two senators representing each of the sixteen states, as well as one each for the two island dependencies and one from the Autonomous District of Ivona. Both houses share identical powers, and any law must pass both houses before it be officially passed. The two houses may unify as the Unified Federal Assembly in certain circumstances, such as to elect a Prime Minister who heads the Assembly, electing federal judges or in times of national emergency.

The Joint Office of Governance is the executive body, and is split between the President of the Republic and the Secretary-General of the Defense Forces, who are both elected in a two-round system of voting every four years. However, whereas the President is elected by all eligible voters (not prisoners or under 18 year olds), the Secretary-General can only be elected through votes from veterans or currently serving members of the Military. In practice, this means that only around 28% of the population can vote for half of the executive leadership of the nation. Due to regulated, but rather weakly enforced, conscription, these numbers are higher than you would typically imagine for a nation.

Immediately beneath the President is the Vice-President who will take over in times of insuitabily, ill health or death; and beneath the Secretary-General is the Deputy Secretary-General who will carry out a similar role. This ensures that the death or incapacitation of one half does not lead to either executive taking absolute power. Nominally, the Vice-President heads the Council of Representatives which are the cultural heads of the region, and the Deputy Secretary-General will oversee the Internal Security forces of the nation. The President also has a Higher Cabinet made up of his closest advisors and powers of state, and the Secretary-General has the Security Council which fills a similar role.

The Federal Supreme Court of Kyznetsia is the supreme court of the Republic and is the head of the Kyznet judiciary system. It's acts as the final decision making body on disputes in civil, citizen or state law and protects the rights that citizens have under the Second Constitution.

In simple terms, Kyznetsia is split between it's agricultural west, tourism south, forestry east and its heavily industrialised north.
Agriculture is largely based on small to medium-sized family-owned units, but does include larger scale state owned intensive farming mainly used for export. The country produces a number of different crops and livestock products including apples, apricots, dates, grapes, melons, oranges, peaches, wheat, barley, maize, olives, dairy products, poultry and beef. The country is one of the largest exporters of wine, olive oil, cork and pulp.
Tourism accounts for up to 12% of the countries GDP, rapidly growing in the late 2010s and attracting 9 million visitors each year. Most of the tourist industry is concentrated along the western coast, as well as Kyznetsia’s two islands. Resorts continue to spring up, catering to mass, nautical and cultural tourism, as well as a few mountain resorts and spas.
Forestry accounts for 6% of the economy and is heavily regulated to ensure no deforestation, and has played an important economic role in rural communities since the early 1920s.
Shipbuilding is a large industry on the shores of the Intria Sea, both civil and military, and is supported by a comprehensive network of grade one and grade two electric railroads. Asphalt, steel and cement production are large secondary industries and account for 8% of the GDP.
