Antargis is Eurth's southernmost continent. It contains the geographic South Pole and is situated in the Antargic region of the Southern Hemisphere, almost entirely south of the Antargic Circle, and is surrounded by the Antargic Ocean. Antargis is a de facto condominium, governed by parties to the Treaty of Antargis that have consulting status. Seven countries signed the Antargic Regulation Treaty of Human Activities in 2018. Ongoing experiments are conducted by scientists from the ISTC.
