The 2022 UENA World Cup is scheduled to be the next UENA World Cup competition, the quadrennial international men's association football championship contested by the national teams of the member associations of UENA. It is scheduled to take place in Prymont.[1]
Controversy
The 2022 world cup might not see the reigning champions SSI Blacksuns return due to the political turmoil in their home country. After the April 2021 coup in Sunset Sea Islands by Colonel Ishijima, a state of emergency was declared including a blanket travel ban.[2] This travel ban will severly limit the qualification opportunities for SSI team.
