The Senate of Delamaria is the upper house of the Parliament of Delamaria. It is made up of elected members, members appointed by the Prime Minister or sovereign, or hereditary members. Senators are also called peers unofficially.
Composition
The senate is composed of three distinct groups, elected members, life members, and hereditary members. There are 90 life members, who are appointed by the King on advice of parliament, 100 elected members, and 90 hereditary members.
