The Electorate of Inner Habstria is a semi-independent state in the Empire of Dolchland, the Electorate was established !Date! as the seat of the Ancestral Lands of the House of Ausburg and remains so to this day. The Capital of the Electorate of Inner Habstria, Lotharingia, is the largest City in the Electorate and the most industrial in addition.
The Electorate of Inner Habstria provided the Heirs to the throne for the House of Ausburg and House of Ausburg-Habstria respectively since the inceptions of those houses. During the Habstrian Succession Crisis, Inner Habstria would support the Kingdom of Habstria in its claims and Military effort to ensure the continuation of the Ausburg-Habstrian rule of the Empire of Dolchland.
History
The Electorate of Inner Habstria is ruled by House of Ausburg-Lotharingia who are the direct Male Decedents of the House of Ausburg who governed the Electorate of Inner Habstria since its inception. The Electorate of Inner Habstria was formed around the same time the Kingdom of Habstria was formed, under the first Ausburg King around !YEAR!. Since then, the House of Ausburg had provided the Rulers for both the Kingdom and the Electorate.
During the War of the Habstrian Succession, the Electorate of inner Habstria sided with the Kingdom of Habstria and provided Men for the defense of both the Kingdom and the Electorates protection.
Government
The Electorate of Inner Habstria is foremost an Electorate to the Empire of Dolchland and holds a vote in the Imperial Diet for the decision on Emperor of the Empire. In the territory of Inner Habstria the Prince-Elector is the Grand Duke of the Lands of Inner Habstria as the Ancient Title of the House of Ausburg and the House of Ausburg-Lotharingia. The current Prince-Elector/Grand Duke, Ludwig V, rules the Electorate as the sole ruler who has a Council of State to advise in most matters of State affairs.
