Umi Yukaba (海ゆかば; English: At Sea) is the national anthem of Motoharu-chū. It was nationally adopted in TBA following the independence of the territory. The lyrics are from a renku poem written by an unnamed author around the 18th Century, and the current melody was composed by Takaya Ieuji, a Motoharan composer, in 1912.

Lyrics

Esonian original Romanized English translation

Nani ga aroutomo / kesshite furikaeranai /

Umi yukaba / kamome ga naku basho de /

Kimi no katawara de / watashi o ase sasete /
Tabi no omoide ni

At sea, where the tides may roam,
In the vast expanse, find my soul a home.
By the side of my Sovereign, let me lay,
Never to look back, come what may.

At sea, where the seagulls cry,
Underneath the open, endless sky.
By the side of my Sovereign, let me fade,
In the memories of the journey made.
