Prince Aldric (Aldric Mikaelis Maolómhair Fenwýr; born 01 October 1996) is the Crown Prince of Sylverreach and next in line for the thorne of Ealdorhenge.

Relationships

Aldric is currently engaged to his Fiancée Sarah II of Gotneska. He proposed to her in early October 2023. The couple had been dating for several years before officially announcing it to the public in August of the same year.

The story of how they met is beautiful in more ways than one. When asked about how they met, he replied with:

‘So to give a little background on the first time we met. My Grandmother/ our Queen was invited to John II Christmas Party that they hold every year.

And my grandmother would be invited every year but would not attend most years. But that year which was 2015 the king had invited her again, but this time allowed her to bring two guests, so she brought my father and me. After learning that the Queen of Gotneska wife to John invited my mother as they had been close friends growing up. So when the event came around, my mother along with my father introduced ourselves to the King and Queen. Brianna the name of the Queen.

Invited me to join a group of people my age which I thought was nice as I don’t know anyone besides my parents and grandmother who were all busy with royal duties. And I remember asking her who’s that redhead girl over there, and I can forget her reply which redhead? And I was like oh yay there's a couple.

So I had to say the one in the pretty Greenish Blue Dress. And she was like oh yes that Sorcha, my youngest daughter.

She then asked, “Would you like me to introduce you to her?” To which I said “sure.” Mrs Andersson then relied on just FYI she’s very shy. Nothing unusual, I thought my home nation has a population smaller than this city I’m in. After we had introduced ourselves we then spoke to one another for a few minutes before she had to leave because of royal protocol of some sort. Before leaving she took me to meet her brother Liam who I at the time looked like a big scary mussel of a man. Unfortunately, that was the only time I saw her that whole trip.

To be honest, after going home, I couldn’t stop thinking about her and how beautiful and smart she was. I remember going to ask my grandmother if she was attending the 2016 Christmas Party, but unfortunately she had become ill and so no one from my nation of Ealdorhenge attended the ball.

Then something that was unexpected, my Grandmother, not to be confused with my Fiancée, is also named Sarah.

She came by and asked me: “Aldric would you like to be my Guest for the Easter Ball in Gotneska?” Which I was surprised but excited. I asked “is my father going”, and she replied “no, he asked me to ask you instead.” And the only reason I thought that he said that was because I couldn’t stop talking about this girl.

When the ball finally came around I remember just sitting at in my chair at the table we had been assigned to and this hand touched my shoulder which scared me a little. Then heard a voice say: “Evening, You Mind if I sit here?” Which not even looking was sure. Then I looked over, going to say my name, and there she was. Then like a stupid head asked how you know I was here? After that, we talked and then spent the next few hours dancing and laughing together. After that, we exchanged phone numbers and separated once again.

After that, we texted one another. Later that same year her dad died which was very unexpected and made my whole family a little anxious as Gotneska has always been a close friend and ally. But to my surprise, three days after his death, my Grandmother Sarah storms into my room and turns on the TV. There right in front of me [Youngest Daughter of Late King John II, Sarah is announced as next Monarch and first Queen since 1890.] Texted her congratulations and thinking she was too busy replied ‘Thanks, but I’m scared I don’t know what to do I’m only 18 years old’. I replied I’m sure you have it under control, I don’t believe your parents would leave you in this situation without help. They probably give you the best.
