Gemotamism, coming from the archaic Stedorian word Gemotam meaning "renaissance", literally "backwards giving birth", is a socialist and Dolchic nationalist ideology that advocates for the creation of a unified federation of nations of Dolchic cultures by means of leadership of government by a Gemotamist-oriented party. The theories are based on the writings and ideas of Falk Jlüter and Paskal Hecker who wrote throughout the late 1930s and 1940s. The late Stedorian military officer and leader of Stedoria, Läkhart Viktor Drejlär, adopted Gemotamism as the official political ideology after the 1971 Stedorian coup d'état which established the Revolutionary Government of the Armed Forces of Stedoria. Gemotamist theory was later further developed by late revolutionary Simon Ulbrikt and current Stedorian Chief Consul Tamäj Köseg, the latter of whom currently governs Stedoria under such ideology through the National Party of the Stedorian Revolution, which is considered by the Stedorian government to be a branch of the Dolchic Socialist Gemotam Party.

Gemotamism advocates for the development and advancement of Dolchic cultures, values, and societies. It holds that Dolchic societies and nations will become prosperous and enlightened, politically, economically, and socially, under a unified but federal pan-Dolchic nation state. Gemotamism is founded on three guiding forces and twenty principles. These four guiding principles are: "Economic Independence" (a belief that the economy should be not be dependant on other nations, and should instead promote its own national industries), "Socialism" (a belief that economic inequalities and the interests of capital must be fought against), "Sovereignty" (the belief that foreign nations should not interfere in another nation's domestic affairs), and "Cultural Unity" (the belief that Dolchic nations must unite together).

Pan-nationalism in the form of "cultural unity" is a key part of Gemotamism. Thus, Gemotamism is often considered to be a form of ethnic nationalism, even whilst included distinct yet related cultural groups. Despite its ethnic nationalist stance, however, Gemotamism also takes a conciliatory tone towards national minorities. It holds that ethnic minorities must be acquainted with Dolchic culture, but that within the homeland regions of ethnic minorities, cultural rights of minorities must be respected, and autonomy granted to them. Gemotamism is highly populistic; it holds an idealised vision of an enlightened leader to guide the masses towards the four guiding forces of Gemotamist ideology.

Gemotamism takes both right-wing and left-wing stances. It is generally considered to be right leaning on socio-cultural issues, and left leaning in economics. Its conservative elements throughout its history have included previous anti-communist views, whilst modern elements have included aggressive patriotism, an emphasis on militarism, particularly in conscription and expanding the armed forces, enforcement of cultural policies, a scepticalness towards globalisation, and conservative views towards more modern elements of culture, such as modern music and dress styles, along with being opposed towards a more broad understanding of gender. Some progressive policies, however, include increased social welfare, free healthcare and education, and anti-clericalism. Gemotamism's foreign policies have remained mixed throughout its history; early-Gemotamism was ambiguous in foreign policy, the Gemotamist junta of Stedoria between 1972 to 1986 was highly anti-communist despite its socialist economic orientation, modern Gemotamism has aligned itself more closely towards socialist and communist nations throughout Eurth such as Advocatius, Fulgistan, and Velaheria. Gemotamism espouses a form of national syndicalism in which workers and employers vote for worker-controlled syndicates and corporations, which manage workers' ownership, decision-making, and worker-employer relations. The state also takes a role by appointing some memebers of syndicates and corporations. Due to this, trade unions, particularly in Stedoria, often have a close relationship with Gemotamist organisations and parties.

Gemotamism does not inherently specify if political life should be organised into a multi-party democratic system or into a one-party authoritarian system, often making this a point of contention between both Gemotamists and outside observers in deteremining if Gemotamism is inherently authoritarian or not. The Revolutionary Government of the Armed Forces of Stedoria, was a gemotamist military junta. Furthermore, the Gemotamist administration currently leading Stedoria has been accused of authoritarianism due to its policies against opposition parties; though elections still take place and oppositions parties are permitted to run, they have met limited success. Due to this, many critics of Gemotamism accuse the ideology of seeking to establish an authoritarian government, or of repressing political opposition.

Twenty Principles of Gemotamism

1. "The Gemotamist movement is a democratic movement; the Gemotamist definition of democracy is a government which carries out the people's will and defends only one interest: the people's interests."
2. "The Gemotamist movement represents the common people's will; political cliquism does not represent the common people. Thus, it is impossible for the political elite to be Gemotamist."
3. "The Gemotamist movement is a revolutionary movement. The movement and ideology must always remain revolutionary. If it loses its revolutionary qualities, it loses its ability to inspire political consciousness, thus it stops being Gemotamist."
4. "A Gemotamist, above all, works and represents the movement. They do not represent political elites or political leaders. Any who do the latter are not Gemotamists."
5. "For the Gemotamist movement, there is only one type of person whose value triumphs all others in society: those who work and labour."
6. "It is the obligation and duty of all citizens who are capable to work and provide for society. They should, at the very least, work and produce to the amount that which they consume."
7. "It is the duty of all Gemotamists to recognise what they, as an individual, are and what they are not. Failure to do this leads to elitism and the death of revolutionary consciousness."
8. "The interests of individuals must subordinate themselves to the interests of wider society. Individualism destroys revolutionism. This, however, does not mean that the interests of individuals should be done away with in its totality."
9. "It is the duty of the Gemotamist movement to promote pan-Dolchic co-operation at all times. This is the key to unity."
10. "The Gemotamist movement is a socialist and people's movement; it is the duty for the movement to combat the interests of capital, which directly contradict the people's interests."
11. "Capital must subordinate itself to the state. Capital that refuses to do this must be eliminated."
12. "Labour unions and syndicates are the heart of workers' power. The Gemotamist movement must organise labour around this fundamental truth."
13. "The armed forces must play the fundamental role of defending the Gemotamist movement."
14. "The Gemotamist movement is progressive movement; it must evolve its ideas with time, but equally recognise that the movement must not fall to ideological revisionism."
15. "The Gemotamist movement carries out social justice; each person is entitled to dignity and rights."
16. "The Gemotamist state must be organised along federal lines in order to respect local and regional cultures whilst maintaining state unity."
17. "The Gemotamist movement is against all forms of imperialism and colonialism; they do not support the interests of the people, but rather the interests of capital and political cliques."
