The primary nations to lie along the lakes are: Ateenia, Baltica, Fina, Mokhavia, and Transbaltia. Some also consider Prymont to be a Great Lakes nation. And, depending on the definition, Uppsund, Dazhdinia and Hinterlands could also be technically be considered Great Lakes nations.
The Inner Sea Organisation, founded in 1993, is an association of 4 Great Lake nations.
