The Holy Heihe Defense Force (HHDF) is the military forces of the Holy State of Heihe. They consist of the Army, the Navy and the Air Force. The Coast Guard and Peacekeeper Force, both of which have law enforcement and military functions, operate as components of the internal security forces in peacetime, when they are subordinate to the Chief of Defense. In wartime, they are subordinate to the Navy and (placeholder) respectively. The President of Heiheguo is the military's overall head, though the Shengren has the power to control the army himself, being able to overrule all other decisions made by lower officials.
Land Forces
The Heiheren Land Forces, or Heiheren Army, has roots in the early years of Ancient Heiheguo, as do the Naval Forces. The Heiheren Army today consists of 8,000 active troops, 600 of which are currently deployed on their Northern-eastern border against [NPC nation]. Reports from the government all claim that these troops are merely for defensive purposes, and that the State has no intention of going to war.
The Heiheren Naval Forces, or Heiheren Navy, constitutes the naval warfare service branch of the Holy Heihe Defense Force. The Heiheren Navy maintains several Marines and Special Operations units. There are currently 750 of 2,000 active troops currently deployed men in the only naval fleet of Heiheguo.
Air Force
Heihe Guard
The Heihe Guard is a branch of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that can be subordinated into the Defense Force under the command of the Heiheren Navy during wartime. The Heihe Guard is responsible for controlling the central river of Heiheguo, as well as the small coastline of the country itself. It is also responsible for fighting all kinds of illegal actions within its area of responsiblity.
State Peacekeeper Force
The State Peacekeeper Force is the regular law enforcement of Heiheguo. However, during wartime, it becomes the country's garrison and enforces the peace using stricter, though nonviolent, means. Usually, this means enforcing curfews and putting down any revolts or protests against the government or the ongoing war. There are currently over 7,000 active Peacekeepers and 1,000 in reserve. When in war, the State Peacekeeper Force falls under the command of the Heiheren Armed Forces.
