Callistois, officially the Matriarchy of Callistois , is a matriarchal nation in northwest Alharu, the north of Fulgistan, the northeast of {Kacheru} and the west of Variota. It lies along both side of the canal that starts from kelija till the big lake that is near the up north east of Kacheru. Callistois' land expands from the upper north of the long canal near Espalia till somewhere near between the further east of Kacheru and the west of Variota. Callistois has a coast with a strait,Keelpijp.

Callistois is classified as a nation that runs on Aristocracy, Matriarchy and Socialism. The capital is Mentha and its largest city is Wisteria. The origin of Callistois can be traced bact from 1090 where a fleet of Zemyvars Raiders established a trade outpost at the Keelpipj Strait. Soon the immigrants established a kingdom named The Great Holy Aephivell, also known as Aephivell. Aephivell then conquer a neighboring nation named the Kingdom of Nanoul. The Callist Revolution of 1760 reclaimed the rights of the people in Nanoul from Aephivell and soon after the Callistois Revolution of 1778, Callistois overthrew The Great Holy Aephivell.

Today, Callistois runs a Socialism economy with relativly high rates due to the effects of the Equal Rights&Economy Law. Callistois' economy is led by the Tourism industry, with major contributions from Beef-Based Agriculture, Cheese Exports, and Uranium Mining. Average income is 46,379 Dabloons, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens being only 1.46 Dabloons appart.

Etymology

The origin of the name "Callistois" was originated from the word "Callista". Callista the name of a spirit in a fairytale, Callista takes form of a young woman with red hair and brown hazel eyes, she was said to help those in desperate need for help and expecially from the poor. The leader of the revolt, Arl Gaultier Granger was just so happened to be a person who was said to be dead and has red hair with brown hazel eyes. So their first revolution in Nanoul was called The Callist Revolution, and the tale spread to Aephivell so the the second revolution was also named after the tale, being The Callistois Revolution.

Callitois is located in the northen west of Fulgist, the north east of Kacheru and the west of Variota. It lies along both side of the canal that starts from Kelija till the big lake that is near the up north east of Kacheru. Callistois' land expands from the upper north of the long canal near Espalia till somewhere near between the east of Kacheru and the west of Variota.Callistois' large land claim was established because of the previous kingdom, Aephivell's tyrent ruler, King Heward's nonstopping desire to conqure more lands for power. Causing when Callistois was established, they had to find a solution to manage such a big land.

Callistois rearange the land segmentation after the independence, deviding Callistois into ten states, Land of Wisteria, Land of Hemp, Land of Iris, Land of Fungi , Land of Lavender, Land of Puss Willow, Land of Veronica, Land of Ivy, Land of Azelea, Land of Mentha.

History

Establishment of The Great Holy Aephivell (1090-1122)

In the 1090's, Zemyvar Raiders from Paras Gari at that time sailed down south to raid for treasures and resources. They first established a trading dock at the shores of Ivy , this builds a strong foundation for the people at that time to transport back and foward between continents. In the 1110's the people from common folk, Yuzhstovans and Garindinans imigrated down south simply because the pagan Zemyvars wanted to not be persecuted. Mostly immigrated to Ivy, now called IvyThorns, Some even went further in land and established more kingdoms such as WiltedFluwez in the west and RavensNetz down south. Soon in 1128, a man from IvyThorns by the name, Abelard Baruau Arnao conqure these three kingdoms and established The Great Holy Aephivell.

The Conquer of Nanoul (1228-1245)

As The Great Holy Aephivel continued to rule, they grew prosperous and set eyes on a kingom from the southeast. Kingdom of Nanoul is a kingdom that was said to be a kingdom that grew appart from Fulgistan and recently declared independance from Fulgistan. Aephivel saw this as an opertunity of expanding their land by conquring the KIngdom of Nanoul Which has not much defence ather their dependence.By forcefully cutting off the Nanoul's communication with the other kingdoms at that time and conqured their land. The Aephivel force the people in Nanoul to work as serfdoms for themselves and put huge ammount of taxes uppon the people of Nanoul.

The East WItch Incident (1704-1754)

In The Great Holy Aephivell, where the corruption of the royalties and the churches grew each and everyday , there a sinister tale was unfolded. A rumour spun from the lips of the king himself—— a tale of a witch who lurkes in the forest in the distanct east, demanding sacrifice of young souls to satisfy her insatiable hunger. Fuelled by fear and superstition, the king's decree echoed through the land, casting a pall of dread over the heart of his subjects. Orphans, the most vurnerable among them, became pawns in his wicked game, torn from their homes and thrust into the clutches of an uncertain fate. But this whole rumour of the witch in the east is simply a lie, a lie that was created by the royalties, nobles and the church. The royalties and noble wanted something to spice up their life, so they started this wicked game of getting childrens to the forest of the east and realeasing them into the woods, only to release them down on horses with swords and bows as if their animals for hunt. The church made more taxes for "religious purpose" to earn more money to live a luxurous life.

Callist Revolution (1770-1778)

When the Nanoul people needed hope the most, hope arrived. A woman by the name of Arl Gaultier Granger came from the forest and started a revolution with the citizens of Nanoul. Arl Gaultier Granger was one of the victims of The East Witch Incident many years ago. She was noticed by a few of the citizens in Nanoul who oftem went to the cart where they kept the orphans captive to sneak food to them. Amongst all the crying children, they saw a girl that is calm as ever. A few years later, she was spot as a grown woman who wento the streets and suggested the idea of a revolution to the people. So the the people revolt, they raised up sickles and pitchforks to the Noble Nanoul Association to demand for independance and overthrow them. In this revolt the people used beetroots to dye wihite cloth pink and tie them on sticks to parade as they made their way to the Grey Tower. Callist Nanoul Assembly was was established to declared independence and run the land of Nanoul that is now called, Callist, Nanoul.

Callistois Independence (1779)

After the independance of Callist, Nanoul, the corruption of The Great Holy Aephivell grew. They started claiming more taxes from the peasants of Aephivell and made them work for free by force. The tax of the people in Aephivell was not good in the beginning, and now with the additional taxes their lives became more miserable and many had dies of overworking and starvation. The people of Aephivel plead for the help of Arl, asking to be concurred and to overthrow the king. But this time the King of Aephivell learned, so he ordered his man to capture the soldiers from Nanoul and kill Arl on the spot if seen. So the people made masks with straws to remain anonymous in the revolution to protect Nanoul Soldiers and Arl. The people copy the Nanouls, dying flags with orange dye that are extracted from carrots. The people stormed into The Great Palace and confronted King Heward Baruau Eriks. At September 23, all royalty, nobles and church members who are involved in The East Witch Incident are executed in the Revolyutsiya Square.
