Shakel is a state in the northern region of The Incorporated States of Cashar. It is bordered by the states of Sostynak and Qatlek to the north, the state of Nykel to the south, and the state of Centavo to the southwest. Its capital city is Waset.

Etymology

The state of Shakel gets its name from Neban Shakel, the matriarch of a prominent merchant family, who lived in 1215. The word "Shakel" comes from the emerging language at the time, Monetok. It can be broken into two parts: "shak" meaning "gem" and "el" meaning "big."
