Maraka

Marka is a state in the northern region of The Incorporated States of Cashar. It is bordered by the North Oriental Ocean to the north, the state of Kyatlek to the west, the state of Drakam to the east, and the state of Krona to the south. Its capital city is Brandet.

Etymology

The state of Marka gets its name from the Monetok word "marka" which can be split into two parts: "mar" meaning "stop" and "ka" meaning "love." Roughly translated, it means "love stop." It is generally taken to mean "stop and love." This name has its roots in a love story between a merchant prince of Danir and a leader of a raiding tribe from the Paran Desert.
