The Comonwealth of Astaria, commonly known as Astaria, is a sovereign state on the island of Ceris in Southern Argis on Eurth. Its closest neighbours are Seylos in the east, Ashington to the south, and Egris in the west. To the north lies the Dolch Sea. Northport is the capital and largest city. The country is home to 3,150,000 Astarians.
Astaria is a semi-direct democracy, led by President Rona Fallon. The country gained its independence from the Kingdom of Ashington in 1742, and has been charting its own course ever since. The country was impacted quite badly by the events of the Sentist War. In 2021, it became a founding member of the North Adlantic Union.
