Boasting an impressive GDP per capita, it is one of the financial hubs of the Amber Lake. Its main industry is banking and finance. Its capital and largest city is Konigshafen, a large port city that acts as the nation's main cultural and industrial hub. Estimeria is most famous for its shipyards, which have a reputation for constructing high quality ships for both merchant and military use.
Etymology
The name Estimeria comes from the Esti tribes that inhabited the southwestern banks of the Amber Lake. They were the primary people of the area, hence the “Esti-” part of Estimeria. The second half of the name is of uncertain origins, but is thought to believe to have come from Fort Maria, which had once been the nation's capital and cultural center. According to this theory, the full name would mean “The Esti of Maria”, which combined would form Estimeria.
Economy
