Morror Kassus is an ambitious man, but none of his colleagues in the Senate know just how ambitious he is. He wants nothing more than to be the next Praetor of the Rihan Republic. He is currently the head of the Kassus family, one steeped in military service. Morror learned by fighting alongside his father and received many commendations, including the Shining Star and the Sotarek Citation. For his family's dedication to the principles of D'era and their long history on the front lines alongside his own impressive victory in the First Enolian War at the Battle of T'vant, he was granted a seat in the Senate. Although he accepted the offer, he was able to maintain control of the 10th Legion based at Garenah, one of the very few senators who have military forces to back up their political positions.
Kassus believes Terix is weak and with the Second Enolian War starting, he has a prime opportunity to seize the moment and direct the spotlight upon himself through military glory. Using his family name, he quietly cultivates relations with hawkish members of the Jaridan coalition and wealthy industrialists, while strengthening his contacts in the military and with agents of the Phi'Tlaru; all playing a role in his grand schemes to take control of the Republic. With the pyrrhic Republican victory at Rinum, his moment has arrived, and both he and his men are on the march — for glory and power.
