Cashar is a parliamentary republic under a constitutional corporatocracy, and thus, there can be a lot of grey areas in terms of how much rights citizens have vs how much rights private and state-owned (or rather corporation owning the state) corporations have - citizens get to enjoy as many rights as is beneficial for ongoing business. Citizens have to pay a voting fee in order to vote. Children six years and older are allowed to vote as long as they have a job. Outright slavery is illegal, but wage slavery is very much in business in Cashar. Internet companies and home security companies have virtually ensured no privacy of its populace. The disabled and elderly are some of the most discriminated against in Cashar due to their limited to complete inability to work.
