The Organisation internationale de la Lysophonie, sometimes shortened to the Lysophonie but also called International Organisation of Lysophonie in Anglish, is an international organisation. It represents countries and regions where Lysian is a lingua franca or customary language, where a significant proportion of the population are Lysophones (Lysian speakers), or where there is a notable affiliation with Lysian culture.

The organisation comprises 9 member states and governments. The term lysophonie, or "lysosphere", also refers to the global community of Lysian-speaking peoples. It comprises a network of private and public organisations promoting equal ties among countries where Lysian people or Lysia played a significant historical role, culturally, militarily, or politically. Starting as a small group of Lysian-speaking countries, the Lysophonie has since evolved into a global organisation whose numerous branches cooperate with its member states in the fields of culture, science, economy, justice, and peace.

Structure

The organisation was established on 17 April 1968 at the Conference of Lyrie. Its headquarters are located in Lyrie, Lysia.
