The Royal Navy of Ahrana is the sea-based branch of the Armed Forces of Ahrana. The Royal Navy is mainly responsible for maritime defense and maintaining the sovereignty of the Ahranaian Territorial Waters. Other tasks include surveillance, search and rescue, icebreaking, oil spill recovery and prevention as well as contributions to international tasks and forces.

The Royal Navy has two Headquarters for the respected Waters each Headquarters are designated in Command of, Northern and Southern Fleet, each are respectively located at the North and South of the Country. Since the re-founding of the Imperial Throne the Navy has started going through a modernization effort let by the Imperial Throne. TRIDENT through the Xara Accords has dictated exactly how many ships and the type of ships may be located at the Southern Fleets position to which the Royal Navy follows.

History

The Royal Navy can trace its origins back to the first Navy established by the First Queen of a United Ahrana, Queen Anne Eve Mishia I, who sought fit to create a Naval Force to defend the Sea Ports and Merchant Vessels of Ahrana that were under attack by raiders. This would be the start of the Ahranaians endeavor in Sea warfare that would create a strong Naval History that would be a trademark of Ahranaian Military Strength and force.

Structure of the Royal Navy

The Naval Headquarters of the Royal Navy is located in the Capital, Moskovo, with the other Headquarters of the Armed Forces that creates the Ministry of Defense which is headed by the Chief of Defense, currently Victoria Sarrov, who chairs all Defense Council meetings and so forth. The Royal Navy has two Fleet Headquarters, Vulga Supra- Southern Fleet and Upplanda- Northern Fleet. The Navy also has a Royal Naval Academy where all potential Officers are trained before receiving Orders and their Commission, the Academy is located in Skaro, Tatani. The Royal Navy also has a Specialist Academy in Larbak, Lockiee where all Specialists go to train in their field.

The Royal Naval Academy is located in Skaro has been the main Naval Academy since is introduction as such in 1880 by Royal Government of the First Imperial Kingdom of Ahrana, all Officers including the Specialist Officers come to train, graduate and receive Orders and Commission
