Littland, officially the Federal Republic of Littland, is a country located in Argis in Eurth. The country is structured of seven federated states, one of which is Kaslund the nations capital and largest city. Littland has an area of 198,000 km2 (76,000 sq mi) and has a population of a little over 21 million. While Littish is the country's official language, the Malskic language is a recognised regional language, mainly spoken by the Malska minority. Littland is a federal parliamentary republic with a Federal President as head of state and a Prime Minister as head of the federal government. The major cities of Littland include Kaslund, Klinstrup, Aalhavn and Frankerup. Littland offers social security and a universal health care system, environmental protection, and tuition-free university education in what is called a social market economy.

Climate
Littland has a temperate climate characterized by its proximity to Amber Lake to its north. The country experiences mild winters, cool summers and a relatively stable weather. Due to Littlands northern location there are large variations in daylight between seasons.

Politics
Littland is a federal parliamentary republic. Federal legislative power is vested in the parliament, consisting of the Folkekammer (lit. People Chamber) and Landskammer (lit. Lands Chamber), which together form the legislative body. The 183 seat Folkekammer is elected through closed list proportional representation of political parties, with a 2% electoral threshold. The Landskammer consists of 42 seats and is less powerful. Its members are selected by the state legislatures. The power of the Landskammer is rather limited, in most cases it only has veto-power over legislation. The judicial branch is headed by the Constitutional Court, which oversees the constitutionality of laws. The Head of State in Littland is the Federal President. The Prime Minister runs the government and day-to-day politics, while the role of the Federal President is mostly ceremonial. The Prime Minister heads the federal cabinet and thus the executive branch of the federal government, they are elected by the Folkekammer. The current Prime Minister is Albert Simonsen.

Littland is a federal state and comprises 7 constituent states. Each state has its own government and the ability to pass laws, some topics however, such as foreign affairs and defence, are the responsibility of the federal government. The states have some legislative authority like in matters of culture, social welfare and nature protection.

Military
The armed forces of Littland, Forsvarsstyrken, is organized into Hæren (Army), Flåden (Navy) and Flyvevåbnet (Air Force) as well as Civilforsvaret acting as Home Guard. As of 2021, Forsvarsstyrken has a strength of 78,000 active soldiers. Conscription was abolished in 2006 and ever since Forsvarsstyrken has been volunteer based. Military spending has slightly increased under current Prime Minister Albert Simonsen, in power since 2016, with the stated goal of eventually reaching 6% before 2025 and modernizing the equipment of the Army.
Foreign Relations
Littlands foreign policy is managed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The country has only recently gone away from a previous isolationist stance in international politics and is establishing new embassies in the Diplomatic District of Verdenspladsen in the capital Kaslund. The country is a member of the Assembled Nations.
Economy
Littland has a high-income social market economy with a skilled labour force and a high level of innovation, with a nominal GDP of $438.09 billion. Littland has a conservative influenced welfare state, where contribution to the economy and active participation in the workforce allows for greater social security. The Littish service sector contributes approximately 65% of the total GDP, industry 28%, and agriculture 7% as of 2021. The Littish currency, the Penning, is valued at approximately 4.71 penning per USD. The Littish stock market is operated by Kaslund Stock Exchange. Kaslund is also a hub for startup companies, and Littland is home to a large portion of small and medium enterprises.
Energy
Mainly relying on coal and other fossil fuels, has been slow to transition to renewables. Having solar panels on one's roof is becoming increasingly popular.

Culture
Malska People
Mainly located in the state of Torsted, the Malska make up 28.1% of Littlands population.
Media
Littish media and news programming are dominated by a few large corporations. In printed media, Varsted Media owns the largest newspapers Daglig Politik, Littland Tidende and HusBladet as well as major tabloids like Nu&Her. In television, the publicly owned station LTV has a large share of total viewer numbers, competing with privately owned channels from Bravo Broadcasting who air their own productions.
Cinema
Littish films are either serious gritty movies or comedies about the everyday Litt, of course other genres exist but mainly these two types of movies persist. A couple Littish actors have achieved international success.
Music
Popular modern Littish artists are mainly Pop and Rock, a few excepts exist with more traditional lyric focused music, and the music industry in Littland is quite niche compared to international markets.
Art

Sports
The national sport is football, the top four levels in Littland are managed by the Littish Football Association (LFU) and the country's premier football competition is the 14-team EliteLiga. Other popular sports include handball, cycling, badminton and swimming. Sport is encouraged in school, and there are local sports clubs in most cities and towns.
