The Royal Constabulary of Elde is a sub-agency of the Federal Police of Ahrana that only has jurisdiction inside the boundaries of the grand Duchy of Elde. The Constabulary is part of the Federal Police Services of the United Kingdom of Ahrana which reports to the Minister of the Interior as well.
Task and Objectives
The Task and Objectives of the Constabulary are the same as it was before the Grand Duchy was readmitted to the Union of the United Kingdom of Ahrana. The Constabulary is to prevent crime, monitor public order and safety, carry out criminal investigations, provide protection, information and other assistance to the public, along with other responsibilities as prescribed under special provisions. The Constabulary preforms the same duties as the Federal Police that operates in the rest of the Kingdom of Ahrana.
Organizational Structure
Federal Police Regional Director of Elde
The Federal Police Regional Director of Elde is the highest office in the Constabulary next to the Police Commissioner of the Constabulary which runs the Constabulary Service on a day-to-day basis. The Regional Director is the Chair at the Regional Government and holds not extra authority over the Service.
Royal Constabulary Commissioner
The Commissioner is the Head of the entire Constabulary inside the Grand Duchy of Elde and is responsible for ensuring the Department runs the way it needs to and holds all Press Conferences that involved the Constabulary.
Oversight
Much like the rest of the Federal Police Services the Federal Parliament along with the Regional Parliament have oversight into the Policing Service to ensure the Legislation in use are being followed and to ensure all Laws are being enforced and maintained as well as Anti-Corruption inside the Service.
