The Police Services of Xara is a sub-agency of the Federal Police of Ahrana that only has jurisdiction inside the boundaries of the Stat of Xara. The Police Services are part of the Federal Police Services of the United Kingdom of Ahrana which reports to the Minister of the Interior as well.
Task and Objectives
The Task and Objectives of the Police Services are the same as the other Stat Police Services. The Police Services are to prevent crime, monitor public order and safety, carry out criminal investigations, provide protection, information and other assistance to the public, along with other responsibilities as prescribed under special provisions. The Police Services preforms the same duties as the Federal Police that operates in the rest of the Kingdom of Ahrana.
Organizational Structure
The Police Services of Xara is headed by the Chief Constable who reports to the Regional Federal Police Commissioner. The Police Service is a division of the Federal Police Services that operates within the Stat of Xara. Currently, the Stat of Xara has seven Rayons that the Police are responsible for policing in junction to the other duties that fall to the Police.
Chief Constable
The Chief Constable is appointed by the Stat Executive Council and confirmed by the Stat Parliament who serves at the pleasure of the Stat Government. The Chief Constable must be a member of the Police Service and has served with distinction for over a minimum of five years. As the head of the Police service the Chief Constable ensures the Police Service are operating at its highest ability, fully staff, and ensures that the laws are enforced and followed by the Police Officers themselves.
Deputy and Assistant Chief Constable
the Deputy Chief Constable are appointed in each Kunta to head each main Office Headquarters within that Kunta. This office is filled by the Chief Constable with whom they believe and is picked from a list of candidates for promotion.
