Batenngdei has made some attempts to control drug use through legalization and exacerbated pricing to dissuade abuse. However the government refuses to distribute certain drugs considered by the Ministry of the People's Health and Safety "overtly harmful and dangerous." There is some presence of unregulated (and illegal) drug trade, but the Batengdeian Government has made considerable efforts to reduce their prominence.

All drugs are completely legal in Het Huisselant. There are no minimum age requirements to purchase, use or carry narcotics. Selling small amounts of narcotics is allowed without a license, this is primarily done by citizens growing their own marijuana or making their own hash. The government offers a marketplace service to help facilitate these sales. Sales of larger amounts requires a license, both for narcotic stores and street dealers. Venues such as brothels and hotels that want to offer complimentary narcotics are allowed to do so without a license as it isn't deemed selling said narcotics.
