The House of Volkov is one of the Slavic Ahranaian Royal House to still be in existence since the Socialist Purge of the Ahranaian Imperial, Royal, and Noble Houses. The Royal House is currently headed by Grand Duchess Anika Volkov, who is also the State Councilor of the Union of Ahrana since late 2022 by Imperial Appointment.

History

The House of Volkov was founded in 1819 for Royal Prince Alekansander Volkov I, who was a son of the King of ??KING NAME HERE??. Since the creation of the House of Volkov, the House has held the title of Marshall of Moskovo which was the head of the Royal Police for many years till the late 1920s Policing Reform established a new Police Force. Today the title of Marshall of Moskovo is a ceremonial one.

The land titles Grand Duchess of Volkov, Yuroslavia, Voldimyn, and Molokov were granted to the House in 1830 by the Imperial House, House Mishia, as a reward for defending the nation and the monarchy from foreign invaders. To this day the House of Volkov is centered around the city of Volkov, where the house name comes from.

The House of Volkov during the times of the Grand Duchy of Gdańsk and the Kingdom of Gdańsk, the house provided the Grand Duke and King of the lands of what is now North Dniester and South Dniester. Today, the House of Volkov no longer holds or claims those titles as they were renounced when the Dniesterian Bolshviks came to power in Dniester.
