Elected by the People through a Party Ballet every four years, or unless a snap election is called, from the Parliament to form a government in the name of the Grand Duke the First Minister creates laws and presents them to the Legislature and then to the Grand Duke for a signature once passed by the Legislature, represent the Government and the People in all International Affairs and such. The First Minister cannot declare war which the power rests with the Grand Duke.

The Grand Duchy of Elde has no standing Army but each citizen between the ages of 18-30 are sent to training each summer for combat and security operations training that is given by the Ahranaian Military. The Duchy has a small Militia that acts as the Military and mans the point of entries and the boarder posts.
By Constitutional Law the Federal Government oversees the International Representation of all Member States within International Organizations, but the Member States do reserve the right to have Embassies and Ambassadors in foreign nations and International Organizations to work with the Unions Ambassadors. All Ahranaian Embassies have a Federally Appointed Ambassador and an Ambassador from Each Member State within that Embassy appointed by the Regional Executive Council. Furthermore, a Regional State may create treaties with foreign nations if it does not conflict the interest of the Federal Government or National Security for the entire Union.  


The Police Force of the Grand Duchy is the Constabulary which operates as the Law Enforcement Agency of the land as well as the Passport Issuing Authority as well as other Identifications needed legally. The Constabulary operates a small detachment of Officers that act as the Marine Police that is responsible for the Ports and Cost Line Authority.
