The Federal Chancellor is the Head of Government and the Head of the Cabinet to which is formed upon being appointed Chancellor of the United Kingdom by the Diarchs. The Government is formed in the name of the Diarchs, therefore the Diarchs reserve the right to dismiss the Chancellor and their Government if they deem it necessary.

History of the Office

The Office of Federal Chancellor has been called many titles but in essence the Chancellor has always been the Head of Government even under Socialist Rule. The first instance of a Head of State that took the name Chancellor was the first creation of the Office under the First United Kingdom of Ahrana as the Office of Lord Chancellor of the Privy Council. The Lord Chancellor of the Privy Council was appointed by the Monarch for a tenure at the pleasure and discretion of the Monarch of the time. During the time the Office of Lord Chancellor of the Privy Council the longest serving Chancellor, Lord Chancellor Sir Alexander Loffinsson, was a tenure of 35 years of State Service to the Kingdom and the People.

After the Second Warring States period had ended and the second Kingdom was established the Office of Lord Chancellor of the Privy Council remained for another 30 years before being renamed and recreated in a new Institution under an early Parliamentary System. This new Office was known as the Prime Minister which would remain the name of the Office till the creation of the Republic which would create the Office of the Vice-President that operated in a secondary position while in a technical sense the President of the Republic functioned as both the Head of State and Government.

When the Republic was toppled, and the Monarchy reestablished the Office of Prime Minister was installed once more as the Head of Government and under the Second Imperial Kingdom the Prime Minister was given extensive power and authority that was reserved to the Monarchy only. This would remain that way till the fall of the Imperial Kingdom with the dissolution of order in partly due to the Communist and the other Leftist Groups Revolution that was sweeping the country.

The Socialist Government was created with the Socialist Party and Ideology installed in every level of government, the General Secretary was the Head of State and primairly exercised the right of Head of Government even though the Socialist Constitution called for an election of a Chairman of the Federal Presidium to be the Head of Government. Due to the imbalance of power in the Socialist Regieme and how they came to power soon this government failed and was replaced by the Federation that was headed by the President and a Prime Minister. The Federation would dissolve to form the Union of the United Kingdom of Ahrana.
