This includes financial support, access to a larger pool of customers, and shared expertise in research and development, manufacturing, and marketing.

History

BW100 was introduced in 1988.

Baywind was founded in 1985 by a group of aviation enthusiasts who saw an opportunity to create a new standard for luxury air travel. The founding members of Baywind were experienced professionals in the fields of aviation engineering, interior design, and business development. They shared a common vision to create bespoke luxury aircraft that catered to the needs of discerning customers. The company's first aircraft, the Baywind BW100, was introduced in 1988 and quickly gained popularity for its sleek design and exceptional performance. Since then, Baywind has continued to innovate in the luxury aircraft market and has become one of the leading manufacturers of custom private jets.

In 2018 Baywind faced a tragic event when one of its planes disappeared while travelling from Andro to Burkini with six people on board.[1] The incident occurred when the plane lost contact with authorities. Searchers later found a debris field in the ocean, suggesting the aircraft may have crashed. Orinese Trade and Transport Councillor Elisabeth of Hakushaku confirmed that a private plane out of Andro had crashed, killing all six people on board, including then Baywind CEO Aida Abiyotu. Aviation officials confirmed the discovery of one body floating in the waters west of Burkini island, and the Burkinese Coast Guard later recovered two more bodies. An investigation was launched into the cause of the crash. The company expressed its condolences to the victims of the crash and their families. The loss of the Mrs Abiyotu was a significant blow to the company, which needed to adjust its leadership.
