The Opening Ceremony occurred on June 24th inside the Wang Kaifeng Olympic Stadium at the heart of the Olympic Zone. It began with opening remarks by [[IOCE]] Chairman Wetzel and [[Fulgistan]]i General Secretary [[Tomur Almas]]. The athletes were introduced in an electronic beat filled march, with Fulgistan's home team getting the most applause and cheer from the crowd. The highlight of the wide-ranging performances showcasing the very best of Fulgistani culture was an elaborate act of horse acrobats, where riders would jump from one horse to another while in motion.
