Zuidhaven International Circuit, colloquially nicknamed ZI Circuit, is a 3.703 km (2.301 mi) private motorsport racetrack in Zuidhaven, Orioni. It hosts racing events, including the KAP World Grand Prix. The course was opened in 1973 as a private motor test track for automotive companies. Soon, the circuit hosted its first race, staged by experiences Orinese and foreign drivers.

History

The track was purposefully designed in the shape of a letter “Z”. The racetrack is driven clockwise and is 12 to 15 meters wide.

Since 1995, the ZI Circuit has hosted the annual KAP Orinese Grand Prix. The first event was won by $PersonName. In 1999, defending GT4 champion $PersonName was killed when his $CarBrandName suffered from a technical failure that prevented him from slowing down in the fifth hairpin corner.

In 2003, the Universal Exports logistics company announced that it would financially support the ZI Circuit to help keep the facility open. The company was renamed UNEX Zuidhaven International Circuit on January 1, 2004. In 2014, UNEX sold the circuit to Onotech, a technology company.
